  I practice thai boxing and jiu-jitsu. I had a deep shoulder ache bothering me since October 2017. Once I'd warm up the pain would subside enough for me to get through my boxing routine, but the morning after was agony. I took time off and the pain did not subside.
  
  I visited Dr. Raj in April 2017. Over the course of the month they ordered an x-ray and MRI at a location down the street from them. I was diagnosed with shoulder impingement syndrome and recommended either physical therapy or surgery. I opted for anthroscopic surgery.
  
  I had surgery on May 24, 2017 and a little more than 2 months later and I'm back at 90%. I have some slight aching, but it seems to be residual pain from the surgery that's still healing up. It's getting better every week. I was back training jiu-jitsu within 6 weeks, and have tried shadow boxing since. I used to feel pain at the end of a jab. That pain is now gone!
  
  I would like to add that I'm a pretty active person. I did about a month of physical therapy and a lot of work on my own. Mostly in the form of hanging from pull up bars (without completing a pull up), stretches, shoulder mobility exercises, and push-ups as soon as I could tolerate them.
  
  All in all, Dr. Raj seems to have fixed my shoulder and I couldn't be happier!
